I am not dead

I kind of dropped off the face of the earth in January because of real-world things. In particular, depression that led to me fucking up my last semester of college and not graduating. Shit sucks. Anyway. I've updated the sidebar "Current Projects", but here's a brief rundown:

Huge apologies to /u/ and our friendly /u/ typesetter for fucking out after the first volume of the Madoka Rebellion manga; thankfully, it looks like they were able to finish volumes 2 and 3 with the help of some other translator(s) - see here.

I'll finish the first volume of the Kyoukai no Kanata light novel at some point; no guarantees on a timeframe. I may or may not work on further volumes (the anime was not great and kind of soured me on the whole franchise).

The Hyouka "Arienai Makuaigeki" segments are still a thing I plan to do. No guarantees on timeframe.

Black Rock Shooter: The Game is stalled at the typesetters, who seem to have dropped off the face of the earth. I don't know what happened to them, so here is the translated text in case somebody else wants to edit them into the raws: translated text.

  7. Heya Nakulas, I hope things are going better with the whole college and life thing now. I've had similar issues a long time in the past.

And anyways, thanks for all the translation work you've brought to us. It really is most triumphant! I know you may be a bit disenchanted by the Kyoukai anime, but don't let that turn you off from your project. I felt the same way about the anime and ended up not finishing it (though the first 4 or 5 eps went somewhere I really liked). But there was just something about the characters and the situations they were in that left some residual captivation in me, and I found my preoccupations with it satisfied in your translation.

  8. Sorry for shit sucking, hope you're better now. Dunno if you enjoyed translating Strange Fake back then, but a second volume has been released and is pretty bonkers by all accounts. Would be nice if you could give it a look, as long as it isn't detrimental to your real life stuff. There are scans available over at Beast's Lair, btw. Cheers!
